Interesting additions to the collection in the Historical Museum have been made, the _ objects relating to th© healing royal touch, and comprising the shirt, garters, and drawers worn by King Charles I. on the BPaffold. ; The .garments are marked ■with his cypher and stained with his blood; there are also the winding sheet, a watch, and a lock of hair, the last of which was cut off when the body was *xhumed at Windsor in 1813.
