INGLEWOOD v. STRATFORD

The Stratford team to play Inglewood, at Inglewood, on Thursday, will bo selected from the following:—East, Smith, Gorton, Chadwick, Malcolm, Patrick, Gorton, Townley, Milner, Pearce, Anderson, Drake. The team will leave by 12.30 train.

At to-night’s meeting of the Wellington Rugby Union, R. Paton, of the Athletic team, was severely cautioned for rough play, and E. Osborne, of the same club, was disqualified till the end of the season for striking another player. McLeod, of the Oriental Club, was also disqualified till the end of the season for striking another player.

SECOND JUNIOR FIXTURES

The following fixtures have been drawn up in the Second Junior fixtures. One or two matches were missed for various reasons in the first round, and if likely to affect the result, these will be played later. If two grounds can be arranged for at Stratford, all matches set down there will be played at 3 p.m., otherwise the published times will have to be adhered to:—

July 7.—New Plymouth District High School v. Stratford District High School, at New Plymouth, at 1.30 p.m. Star v. Stratford, at Stratford, 3 p.m. Clifton v. Technical College, at New Plymouth, at 3 p.m. July 24.—Stratford v. Clifton, at Waitara, 1.30 p.m. Stratford District High School v. Technical College, at Stratford, 3 p.m. Star v. New Plymouth High School, at New Plymouth, at 3 p.m. July 31.—New Plymouth High School v. Stratford, at Stratford, 3 p.m. Clifton v. Stratford High School, at Stratford, 1.30 p.m. Star v.
