REASSURING REPORTS
Auckland, July 15
The Health Officer states that no fresh epidemic cases have been reported. Telegrams from the country state that the outbreak is subsiding. Die patients in the isolation hospital are doing well, and a few bad so far recovered as to be able to walk about. One or two cases are still acute. In the majority of cases facial disfigurement during the eruption is very pronounced; still all are making good progress towards recovery.
