THE EMPIRE CUP

At the Bisley meeting the Empire Gup was competed for in weather which, in the whole, was easy fo' shooting. The Canadians used the Ross rifle. The result was as follows: Yards.

The wind was fluky and the light difficult, with an cccasional mirage. The Canadians' comparative failure came as a surprise. It is partly attributed to only three days' practice. The Australian team held their own well on the whole. The British team's average was over 276 each in a possible of three hundred.

LORD CHEYLESMORE'S CUP

London, July 13

For Lord Chcylesmore's Cup, oper to the members of the Empire teams. Blacklow (New South Wales), and Fulton (England) tied with fortynine. Fulton won in an exciting shootoff, each scoring three bulls, then an inner, and'two bulls apiece, Blacklow then getting an inner and Fulton p bulls eye.
