Mr Jacobson and family are leaving Toko at the end of the week, to reside on their farm at lututawa.

The Hon. Thos. Mackenzie does not forget his friends. Mr Charles Potts, iijjjj Eltham, received a note from him tin |jther day (states the Argus). The Higf' Commissioner mentions that he has a nice house at Hampstead, and is comfortably settled down. He does not appear to be enamoured with the climate, and remarks that "it takes time to get used to it." He expresses regret at Mr Potts' recent illness, and a hope for his complete recovery. Incidentally he mentions that he has seen Mr and Mrs H. Stannere, From whom he has received all the Eltham news.
