INFECTIOUS DISEASES.
THE PATIENTS IN ISOLATION. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] Auckland, July 12. There are now twenty patients in the isolation hospital, one new case, a man from a city boarding-house, having been admitted this morning.
SUSPECT AT WHANGAMOMONA
HEALTH OFFICER INQUIRING
Acting on instructions of the Chief Health Officer at Wellington, who, it appears, has been advised (direct from Whangamomona that there is a case of mysterious illness with all the symptoms of the' recent outbreak in the north, Dr.. Chesson, District Health Officer, went to \Yhangamomona today to make inquiries. No report bar been received by Mr T. Harry Penn. secretary of the Hospital Board, the local health authority;* and nothing further is known of the matter at present.
