THE TROUBLE IN MOROCCO
Morocco, July 11. The tribesmen furiously attacked Alcazar. The battle in the streets was violent. Cannonading has been heard in Tangier from the direction o! Tetuan.
A COSTLY HOTEL

The governors of St. George's Hospital agred to sell the land 'for £46,000 and rebuild elsewhere. A syndicate is constructing an hotel on the present site to cost £1,250,000.
THE ROYAL TOUR
Their Majesties toured the pitmen's towns of Newton, Ashton, Alran, Hindley and Wigan. The landscape consisted chiefly of colliery shafts. Their greeting was enthusiastic at th» pitheads. The lassies lining the streets disappointed the visitors by wearing their best clothes.
WESTMINSTER HALL
There has been extensive decay in the timber used in the construction of parts of the roof of Westminister Hall, but it has been discovered that it is possible to repair it without spoiling the beauty of the design. This is the first overhaul since 1399.
