THE ENGLISH WHEAT CHOP
[By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] (Received 8.40 a.m.) London, July 9. The Times’ report states that the English wheat is scarcely reassuring owing to the- • weather. The figure indicate an average of 89.17 of a full crop. The prospect is the worst since 1908.

Last Saturday I held my usual •.veekly sale with a very good entry of various lines, and also good attendance of the public. I quote as follows: —Hens Is 6d to 2s 6d, roosters Is 6d to 3s, clucks'ls 6d to 3s, carrots 3s, 3s 6cl, potatoes 7s, onions 1-Jd to 2d ner lb, cauliflowers 2s 6d to 4s per Jo/.., cabbage Is to 3s do/, furniture and sundries at usual auction rates.
