CREATING A COUNTRY PARTY

At the annual conference of the Farmers and Settlers’ Association, some of the speakers complained that country members were neglected by the Government, who treated them as little hoys. There was need for ending the present wobbling. The creating of a straight-out Country Party was urged. The Conference to-day decides the question of creating a party.
