TRAGEDY IN TASMANIA.

A farmer named William James Mullens, residing at Mathina, left homo on June 20th on a visit to his oppos.sum traps two miles away, but never returned. The same day a number of shots were heard in the direction of tintraps. Searchers discovered human remains amid the debris of a fire in a gully three miles from home. It is considered to be a case of murder.
