In view of the recent manifesto incident at Leicester, Mr Wolmer will introduce a Bill to amend the Corrupt Practice Act, with the object of punishing misstatements intended to affect the result, of an election.

Ho understood that all the persons referred to had divested themselves of their shares in the American Company.
