LARGE HOUSE DESTROYED. [Per Press Association.] Wellington, July i. A tlurtoen-roomed house in Dn'.venu street was badly damaged by lire tonight. ft was owned and occupied by Mr Allan MeGuire,' and was insured for Cl.'l(K) in tb,' Victoria Ofliee, ami tlie contents for L'IUOO in the N.-w Zealand office. The fire was caused by a spark igniting a settee.
