"Och a'.m gran', thenk ye, Donal', an' whits the latest oot et Toko." "Weel, Sandy, a' suppose ye herrd us Toko chappies are ga'en to hev anither 'Wee Scotch Nicht' afore lung." "Lush sakes, an' dae ye tell me sae, man, but a'm richt gled to hear it ; ye maun tell me a' aboot it Donal'." "Weel, Sandy, yo ken, wo hae a Strang brench o' the Scottish Society in Toko an' we held a meetin' twa or three weeks hack an' decided tae hev a Scottish Social an' Dance, an noo we've fixed the date fur Friday, the 25 July." !

We're ga'en to hev gran' music fur oor dancin' an' a lot o' pipers under the chairge o' yon douce Hielan' laddie, Sandy McCowan, frae tSrati'ord. We hae put on twa wrastlin' ghillies tae keep order et the door, Evan Jones an' Sandy Ferguson, an' the M.C.'s wull he Geordie Morrison an' Malcolm Cernhoefer. A' hear that bran' new kilts hev been ordered fur Chieftain Lees, Vice-president Murray Urquhart, an' Geordie Morrison an' the lasses are a' anxious tae hae the first dance wae oor kilties. Hut, Sandy, a' nearly forgot tae tell ye aboot the supper, that, ye ken, is left tae the weemen buddies tae luk efter.
