FOOTBALL.
SCHOOL COMPETITION. In the Primary Schools Competition Stratford and the preparatory fifteen of the New Plymouth High School met at Stratford on Saturday, the home team winning by twelve points to nil. Tries were scored for the winners by G. Kivell (2), C. Stewart and P. Neal. Mr D. J. Mai one carried the whistle.
STRATFORD v. TUKAPA. The following players have been selected to play Tukapa Seniors at New Plymouth on Thursday, leaving by the morning train:—Bonner, Woods f2),.Fearon (2), Cameron (2), Tocker, Brown, Smith, Dewar, Kivell, Boon, Sullivan, Dobson. Emergency, Olliver. The following players will represent the Stratford Ist Juniors in their match with Clifton Ist Juniors, at the Show Grounds on Thursday, play commencing at .'1 p.m. :—Tichbon (2). Brown (3), Bowler, Collins, Stewart. Hockey, Wasley, Watkins, Pearce, Jones, Rogers, Kennedy. Emergencies : Marfell, Crighton, and Rogers.
The following will represent the Stratford 2nd Juniors in their match against the New Plymouth High School :it Now Plymouth on Thursday, leaving by 8.30 a.m. train:—Collins (2), Bishop, Tickers (2), Syme, Russ, Till, Campbell, Cameron, Careokline, Stewart, Sangstor, Sullivan (2). Emergencies: Shoahan, Cameron and O'Xeil. Shed practice to-night, when all are requested to attend. Seniors please note.
The following fixtures have been arranged for Thursday:— Seniors: Stratford v. Tukapa, at Western Park. Juniors: Clifton v. Stratford, at Stratford, .'5 p.m.; Tukapa v.
