Tho Government Meteorologist (Rev I). C. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows : The indications are for :—Winds freshening, northerly strong to gale prevailing. Weather conditions are threatening. Expect dull weather with much mist and fog in parts. Much rain is to be expected. Barometer falling.
