THE LEICESTER SEAT. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyrightl [United Press Association ' London, June 26. There is great interest in the Leicester polling on Friday. The Labor Party has resolved that the Leicester branches shall give their encouragement to Mr Hartley’s candidature, which is a grave violation of National Party discipline, and which will inevitably lead to a considerable disruption of forces and compel Mr Ramsay MacDonald to sever his connection with the Leicester constituency. The Trades Council at Leicester is supporting Mr Hartley.
