THE OTIRA .TUNNEL
"Wellington, June 26. The Hon. Mr Fraser (Minister of Public Wprks), told an interviewer that an effort would be made to get the work of the Otira tunnel finished bv contract. If this is not successful, the Government will have to continue it. Asked if the work must be completed,: Mr Fraser.stated: "Yes; so much money has been spent on it that we must go on with it."
