HAMILTON and McHARDY to sell as above, Without Reserve — 120 extra choice well-bred Hoi stein heifers, in calf 50 selected Jersey-Shorthorn heifers, in calf 25 choice grade Jersey heifers, in calf 50 selected Shorthorn cross heifers, in calf 5 Jersey house cows 170 yearling Holstein heifers 135 yearling Jersey cross heifers 3 2-year Holstein bulls 1 2-year Jersey hull 670 breeding ewes, in lamb to Bor-der-Leicester and Southdown ramg. 52 good ewe lambs 174 fat and forward 4 and 6-tooth wethers * ]2 Border-Leicester rams 2 Southdown rams We can recommend, with every confidence, the quality of the abovementioned stock, to those in quest of high grade cattle and sheep. Our representative has made a thorough personal inspection and reports as follows :—"The Dairy heifers are a superior line of well-bred cattle, in the pink of condition, mostly three-year-olds, and well grown. They are all in calf to purebred Holstein and Jersey bulls. The yearling heifers are indeed a choice lot. They are all good colors, mostly by purebred sires, and were selected from the bst herds in Taranaki. It would be hard to get better lines together in the Dominion. They have been "'well clone, and have been on turnips for some considerable time. The sheep are also a good lot, and were bred on the hills." Conveyances will leave Hawera and Manaia at 9 a.m. on morning of sale. Intending buyers are requested to book their seats early. LUNCHEON PROVIDED.

LUNCHEON PROVIDED. Sale at 12.30 o'clock. NOTE.— Tho above cows are in firstclass condition and young, and averaged 2nd highest test last season at factory. The Jersey cows were purchased from Mr J. Hale, of Mangorei, last season, and are practically all purebred, Mr Lovelock some months back, refusing £2O each for them. Cows are for absolute sale, and may remain on property,- in good feed, at buyer's risk till 2nd August.
