Burglaries continue in this district. On Saturday night a burglar entered the house of If. Ayers, at Linwood, and stole £4 from the pockets of clothes hanging in the room wherein Ayers was .sleeping. On Sunday evening, Vr- Julian surprised a burglar in the bedroom ol his daughter. The man escaped by way of the balcony, taking a watch and jewellery valued at £lO 10s. Burglaries are continually being reported here since May 29th,
