FOUND DROWNED
Invercargill, June 23
Daniel Sinclair, 54, single, gardener, was found drowned in the Waihapai River. Apparently, in crossing he got stuck in the soft mud.
ACCIDENTAL GUN EXPLOSION
Martin Sculy, "a sawmill hand, was taken to the hospital suffering from a gunshot wound. While sweeping out a room, he knocked over a loaded weapon, which exploded, the charge entering his chest. Scully’s condition is critical.
