The following will represent the Stratford 2nd Juniors in their match against New Plymouth High School at New Plymouth, on Thursday next, leaving by 8.30 a.m. train—Collins (2), Sullivan (2), Campbell, Syme, Vickers (2), Cameron, Russ, Till, Cafseldine, Sangster, Bishop, Stewart. Emergencies, O’Neil,' Sheahan, 'Vickers, Cameron. Shed practice on Tuesday night, when all players are requested to turn up.
SUPREME COURT.
A NEW PLYMOUTH SENTENCE, New Plymouth, June 23.
In the Supreme Court, H. F. Smith, who was charged with indecent assault and common assault, and convicted on the latter charge, was sentenced to twelve months’ imprisonment and declared an habitual criminal, Judge Edwards saying that he could not understand the jury’s verdict, as it was indecent assault or nothing.
