HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT
The High Commissioner, cabling from London under date the 21st inst, states:—
Butter.—The market is steady, and a good demand continues for choicest New Zealand and Australia. There is no change in prices excepting for Danish, which has advanced Is 4d. Australian, exceptionally good, 110 s, Choicest New Zealand 113 s, Danish 121». x
Cheese.—There is a good demand, witk the market firmer. Recent shipments of cheese are of better quality than previous one. It is approximately estimated that there is a decrease in the June make of Canadian cheese of 16 per cent. New Zealand white 61» 6d, coloured 69s 6d, Canadian, new make, white and coloured, 59s 6d to 80a 6d.
