Our representative has made a thorough personal inspection and reports as follows: —“The Dairy heifers are a superior line of well-bred cattle, in the pink of condition, mostly three-year-•>lds, and well grown. They are all tTi calf to purebred Holstein and Jersey hulls. The yearling heifers are indeed a choice lot. They are all good colors, mostly by purebred sires, an,d were selected from the bst herds in Taranaki. It would ho hard to get better lines together in the Dominion. They have been well done, and have been on turnips ’for some considerable time. The. sheep are also a good lot, and were bred on -the hills.” Conveyances will leave Hawera and Manaia at 9 a.m. on morning of sale. Intending buyers are requested to hook their seats early.
