Tho fate of the Gisborne tug Taqnui, wreckage from which was recently found on tho Portuguese coast, and the delay arising in connection' with the vessel being reported, is occasioning no little anxiety. Whilst the position is regarded pessimistically ih local shipping circles, the management have not given up hope of the little vessel turning up safely, and it is understood that tho London agents are inclined to take a similar view. The Taonni should have been reported from Gibraltar on Monday last.
