FEAR FOR THE PANAMA EXPOSI TION. Washington, June 19. Mr Bryan has appealed to the Ger man Ambassador to induce the Ger mans to participate in the Pananu Exposition. Mr Bryan is apprehensive' that European nations are likely to boycott the exposition because ol irritation over tho question of Panama tolls; also over the discrimination likely to be inserted in the new tariff legislation. Four Japanese commercial unofficial envoys who are inquiring into the Californian question, visited Mr Bryan ant] expounded their views. President Wilson received them later. * The envoys are conducting an investigation on behalf of Japanese business men.
