A CRITICAL SITUATION

The Neue Freie Presse’s Sofia correspondent states that Bulgaria wil. not send a representative to St. Petersburg. Bulgaria will wait five days longer, and if by then Servia has not acquiesced to arbitration on the basis of the treaty the situation will h( extremely difficult.

Bulgaria has definitely rejected Servin’s demand for a revision of the treaty.

Diplomatists still anticipate a Serin Bulgarian compromise at the eleventh hour. .

The Government has protested to the Greek Government against the incessant arrests of Bulgarians in Macedonian districts under Greek occupation.
