A railway accident occurred near Zeehan. A passenger train left the rails and humped along a short distance. Some of the carriages almost overturned. The train tore up the permanent way .and tilted up, the carriages being at an,angle of forty-five degrees with the footboards embedded in the earth. No one was injured.
