WEATHER FORECAST.
The Government Meteorologist (Rev D. C. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows : The indications are for westerly strong winds to gale freshening. The weather will probable prove cold and showery. The barometer has a falling tendency. STRATFORD RECORDS. Following are the records of the iirstruments at the local school for tiie twenty-four hours ending? 9 a.m. this morning:— f Rain, .03in. ; maximum temperature 49.5, minimum 34.5; thermometer dry bulb -16, wet 44.5. The barometer has fallen since Fnday from 29.5 to 28*9. The fall of the barometer and the fact that there s only a difference of 1.5 degrees letween, the wet and dry thermomete.s seems to indicate that a change of weather is approaching.
