TERRITORIAL GYMKHANA SPORTS MEETING.

Great interest is being taken.in the forthcoming Gymkhana, it being tho first of its kind in Taranaki. The meeting provides classes for Territorials and Cadets, and the programme is so ararnged as to give free scope for all phases of military instruction. The Territorial movement has tho full sympathy of most citizens, and quite a number of those interested in the Gymkhana have offered trophies to the A. and P.!Association for competition in the several classes, and it is anticipated that good encouragement will be the Territorial and Cadet movement. For the public the military sports will be of .a novel and spectacular function, as the comic events will ba scheduled as is usual in military meetings, and perhaps no one enters into the spirit of "fun" more than the military man. The military regimental bands will further enliven proceedings and it should be hard to find a dull moment.
