UNRULY INMATES. Auckland, June 14. In the absence of the Salvation Army officer in charge of the Inebriates' Homo on Rotoroa Island, a number of inmates got out of hand on Thursday night, and there were some disorderly scenes. A number of windows were smashed, and the telephone connection with the mainland was out and taken. When the officer returned, several inmates refused to work. The manager has applied for police assistance for preserving order, ind two constables proceeded to the Island last night.
