The Deputy-Official Assignee reported that during the two moiiths since bankrupt’s filing ho had been busy investigating matters, especially the seedrities, but owing to the’chaos which prevailed he had not made much headway. Shaw’s books of account had never been balanced since 1996, and consequently they would have to be checked over the whole intervening period. A mass of documents were in such confusion that it would take another month to get them put in order, and apparently it would take twelve months to prepare a complete statement.
