THURSDAY, 2Gth JUNE, 1913. (Hawera Winter Show Week.) Ail Classes are exclusively for Territorials and Cadets in Military Area Group, No. 8 (Taranaki and King Country), and No. 6 (Wanganui). The Gymkhana is the first of its kind in Taranaki, and includes such competitions as— Tug-of-war, Cock-fighting, Balaclava Melee, Tout-pitching, Marching, Tilting the Bucket, Boot Race, Lloyd-Lindsay, Bugling, Relay Race, Drill, Pillowfighting, Wrestling-on-horse-hack, Bun and Pop Race, Mounted Jumping, and the very amusing obstacle race,in Fancy Costume, in addition to the THREE MILITARY BANDS. Free passes on the railway will be granted to all competitors. The Prize List contains many valuable Cups am! Trophies (see programme). EXCURSION FARE on all railways for Genera! Public.
