(Hawera Winter Show Week.) All .Glasses are exclusively for Territorials and Cadets in Military Area Group, No. 8 (Taranaki and King Country), and No. 6 (Wanganui). The Gymkhana is the first of its kind in Taranaki, and includes such competitions as— Tug-of-war, Cock-fighting, Balaclava Tent-pitching, Marching, Tilting the Bucket, Boot Race, Lloyd-Lindsay, Bugling, Relay Race, Physical Drill, Pillowfighting, Wrestling-on-horse-hack, Bun and Pop Race, Mounted Jumping, and the very amusing obstacle race in Fancy, Costume, in addition to the THREE MILITARY BANDS. Free passes on the railway will he granted to all competitors. The Prize List cantains many valuable Cups ami Trophies (see programme). EXCURSION FARE on all railways for General Public.
