WEATHER FORECAST.
The Government Meteorologist (Rev I). C. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows : Tho indications are for Westerly strong winds to gale and veering by south to east. The weather conditions are threatening; heavy rain is probable, accompanied with hail and sleet at times. Barometer falling but rising fast after 24 to 36 hours.
