BULK-HANDLING OF WHEAT

The interim report of the commission which is inquiring into the question of wheat-handling recommend bulk-handling on the Canadian system, whereby it is estimated a penny per bushel is saved. The commissioners state that the evidence showed that an under current of despair was often indignantly expressed concerning the exactions of the present system.
