Four competitors have entered in the class for a general collection from one’ farm, good entries have been received for the root crop competition, and twenty-two entries diavo been received in the swede competition. In this competition the entries have come from as far south as Stratford and Toko, from ITrenui in the east and Oka to in the west. A feature of the show will be the honey exhibits, several competitors having stated that they will show the latest American hives. A good number of applications have been received for space for side-shows, and the public should be well catered for in this direction. The dog trials, which are an innovation in connection with the Show, have drawn competitors from all parts of Taranaki, and will undoubtedly be much appreciated by lovers of the intelligent sheep dog.
