VALEDICTORY.
o ■ Members of St. Andrew’s Tennis Cl"b held a social and dance at Arawa House last evening, the occasion being in honor of Mr J. F. Anderson, of the staff of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., who is leaving for New Plymouth. Mr .Anderson was presented by his friends with a travelling bag and pipe. Vocal items were contributed during the evening by Miss Mackey, Mr A. L. Jones, and Mr Hale.
