Gueschoff have recommended the four Allies’ premiers to meet and endeavour to settle the questions in dispute between the Allies. Sofia, June 2. It is stated that the Balkan premiers will meet in St. Petersburg. A CORDIAL CONFERENCE. Belgrade, June 3. M. Basics and M. Gueschoff had a cordial conference. Servia is willing to demobilise if Bulgaria will do likewise. M. Gueschoff would not commit himself to the acceptance of a revision of the treaty. M. Pastes suggested an economic convention strengthened by a military convention later. There is a general belief that the danger of conflict has been re- ■ moved. Vienna, June 3. The meeting of the Balkan premiers is welcomed, though it is doubtful whether it will have the respective military parties sufficiently in hand to arrange a tolerable modus vivendi. Military feeling in Servia bitterly resents the treatment received at the fall of Adrianople.
