WEATHER FORECAST.
The Government Meteorologist (Rev D.. C. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows : The indications are for northerly winds, heavy to .gale. The weather will prove very boisterous. Heavy rain is to be expected with rivers rising shortly. Barometer falling, but rising after about 36 hours.
