Thero were preliminary tremors at 8.35, and the maximum was at 8.37. All the disturbances ceased at 8.46. A BRISBAjNEt SENSATION. Brisbane, May 30. A young woman named Pearl Leichcroft was shot in the mouth and seriously injured while entering a motorcar outside an oyster saloon. The chauffeur, Patrick Burke, was shot in the shoulder.
