SECOND JUNIOR COMPETITION. The list of fixtures in the second junior competition lias been re-arrang-ed owing to the Eltham team having withdrawn. Following is the revised list:— June 12—Clifton v. Stratford, at Stratford, 1.30 p.ra.; Star v. Stratford D.H.S., at New Plymouth, 1.30 p.m.; Technical College v. N.P.H.S., at 1.30 p.ra. June 19—Clifton v. N.P.H.S., at Waitara, 1.30 p.m.; Stratford D.H.S. v. Stratford, 1.30 p.m.; Star v. Technical College, 3 p.m. June 26—Stratford D.H.S. v. Technical College, at Stratford, 1.30 p.m.; N.P.H.S. v. Stratford, at New Plymouth, 1.30 p.m.; Star v. Clifton. TARANAKI RUGBY UNION. At the last meeting of the Management Committee of the Union the following re-instatements were made: —Senior to first junior: 11. Morshead, it. Smith (Tukapa), C. E. Murphy (Hawera). First tn second junior: Ogilvie (Waimate) and F. Hall (Hawera).

The Hawera Football Club notified that arrangements had been made for the use of the Hawera Show Ground for the Wanganui and Wellington matches.

Mr Bassett was selected as the referee in the Wanganui match. It was resolved to ask Wairarapa Union to play the match with Taranaki on August 20th. It was decided to suggest August 9th as the date for the special match against Auckland at Auckland.

It was resolved to substitute a North v. South match in place of the Northern Thursday v. Saturday match to be played at New Plymouth during show week.
