The weather has again broken, and there is a strong southerly blow with heavy rains and rough seas. TO-MORROW'S ELECTIONS. The outlook for to-morrow's elections is not promising. Both parties held big final rallies. TASMANIA TO GERMANY DIRECT Hobart, May 30. The'ftorth German Lloyds steamer has initiated direct calls. Previously, all German goods for Tasmania were sent to London, and transhipment made by the Shaw, Saville Co. and the New Zealand Shipping Coy's, steamers. ; THE COURSING DERBY. (Received 9.20 a.m.) Melbourne, May 30. At the coursing meeting the Derby was won by Captain Wood, the run-ner-up being First Blood.
