£2,000,000 AVIATION SCHEME. Mr Grahame-White, says the Daily Chronicle, has placed before the Government a comprehensive scheme to put the industry of aviation in this country in a sound healthy condition at a small cost. In company with a group of financiers he has undertaken to produce a sum of £2,000,000 to he devoted to the establishment of aerodromes in all the big cities, tqe purchase of hydroplanes for service on the, East Coat, and the construction of dirigibles to be stationed at various centres. The organisation would also be prepared to train 500 pilots for the army and 500 pilots for tho navy every year, and to provide a largo number of highly-skilled mechanics.
