An International Boxing Union has been established to prepare definite and final rules for the championship of the world, and to decide disputes. Ihe Union consists of a representative of the New York State Athletic Commission, and of the Belgian and French Boxing Federation, but the National Sporting Club has been ommitted on the ground that it is not sufficiently important to partake of an international organisation.
