TUNA SCHOOL CONCERT.

A successful school concert, which included the annual prize-giving func--1011, was held at Tuna (Salisbury .Load) on Friday night, Mr Robt. Masters, one of the district representatives on the Education Board presiding over a large attendance. Mr Win. Hathaway, chairman of the School Committee, in presenting Mr Masters, mentioned the fact that ho was the youngest member of the Education Board, and said that Taranaki should be proud that he gave so much of his time to the service of education at an age when most men were content to leave such work to their ' elders. Mr Masters, before presenting the prizes, congratulated ‘the headmaster, Mi; Auld, on the successful year’s work, and announced his intention of offering aii attendance iprize, for the coming year. • ■ The concert prograninie proved Very enjoyable.
