Aid 185 Bank Int. and charges 125 Contingencies ... 302 £sOll Moneys Available —Estimated Stratford ... ... 2687 £sOll NOTICE is hereby g:v<n that the Stratford Borough Council intends at the ordinary Meeting of the Council, to be held at the Borough | Council Chambers, Broadway, on MONDAY, the 9th day of June, 1913, at 7.30 p.m., make and levy the following rates for the period commencing on the First Day of April, 1913, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1914 namely:

A General Rate under section 78 of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908,” and of the “Rating Act, 1908,” section 44 of three pence in the £ on the rateable value on the Valuation Roll of all rateable property within the Borough of Stratford, on the basis of the unimproved value. The above rate to be payable at the Borough Council Office, Broadway, Stratford, on the First day of July, 1913. NOTICE is also hereby given that the annual recurring special rate of one penny and . of a penny in the £ on the capital rateable ’ value of ai; rateable .property within the Borough of Stratford made for providing the interest on the loan of £17,000, will be payable at the office aforesaid on the date fixed in that behalf (being the first day of August, 1911))', such rate for the period above mentioned to be seveneighths of a penny in the £ on the basis of the unimproved value. Also, that the annual recurring special rate of nineteen thirty-seconds of a penny in the £ on the capital rateable value of all rateable property within the Borough of Stratford, made for providing the interest and sinking fund on the loan of £BOOO will be payable at the office aforesaid in two equal instalments on the dates fixed in that behalf (being the first day of January and the first day of July, 1913), such rate for the period above mentioned to be five-sixteenths of a penny in the £ on the basis of the unimproved value. Also, that the annual recurring special rate of seven thirty-seconds of a penny in the £ on the capital rateable value of all rateable property within the Borough, of Stratford, made for providing the interest and sinking fund on the loan of £3OOO, will be payable at the office aforesaid, in two equal instalments on the dates fixed in that behalf (being the first day of January and the first day of July, 1913), such rate for the period above mentioned to be one-eighth of a penny in the £ on the basis of the unimproved value. Also, that the annual recurring special rate of one-fifth of a penny in the £ on the capital rateable value of all rateable property within the Borough of Stratford made for providing the interest and sinking fund on the loan of £2OOO, will be payable at the Office aforesaid, in two equal instalments on the dates fixed in that behalf (being the first day of April and the first day of October, 1913), such rate for the period above mentioned to be one twelfth of a penny in the £ on the basis of the unimproved value. Also, that a water rate (ordinary supply) under section 83 of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908,” of six pence in the £ of annual rateable value, will be made and levied on all lands and buildings in the Borough of Stratford, to which water is supplied, - and one-half of the rate above mentioned on all land and buildings to which water can be, but is not supplied, situate within one hundred yards of any part of the waterworks and on all buildings used as stores or warehouses or for other purposes other than dwelling houses. The rate to be for the period commencing on the first day of September, 1913, and ending on the thirty-first day of August, 1914, and to bo payable at the office aforesaid in two equal instalments on September Ist, 1913, and March Ist, 1914. NOTICE is alsp hereby given that the rate-book containing the particulars of all the above rates is now open for inspection at the Borough Council Office, Broadway, Stratford.
