AMUSEMENTS.
HIS MAJESTY’S PICTURES. A fine programme was shown last evening on the occasion of tho biv, oekiy change of programme at Bernard’s. The big picture is a drama entitled “Zika, Queen of tho Gypsies.” Tho young queen is insulted by some farm hands, and in revenge a band of gypsies is organised to “deal it out to him.” This is the commencement of a feud which leads to some highly exciting situations. The gypsy queen is captured, her escape being tho most sensational part of the picture. “Captured by Bedouins” is an absorbing drama, tho scene of which is partly on board a trans-At-lantic liner and partly at the Pyramids. The pictorial part is also very well done. “The Chocolate Revolver” is another drama of more, than usual excellence, containing as it docs an element of comedy—except for the two burglars who believe the weapon is of the deadly “Colt” variety. Variety is supplied by the everpopular Gaumont Graphic, a splendid scenic and two comics “Pimple’s. Fire, Brigade,” and “Funnicus’ Mother-in-Law.” This programme will be presented until Saturday night. Tho matinee on Saturday commences at 2.30.
