| o j A NOBLE BEQUEST. [Per Press Association.] Wanganui, May 22. Tlio late Mr J. T. Stewart has left his house and grounds at Wanganui, valued at £3OOO, for the purposes of PlUnket Nurses’ and Children’s homes, subject to his wife’s life interest. In making the bequest, Mr Stewart says: “I regard the saving and wellbeing of children in early years, under live years of ago, as one of the important problems of the age, and T leave and bequeath this property for the use and advancement of such a purpose.”
