The following are ■ the conditions; —The combined, pf all f armers in. siy districteach district to be selected by farmers “Combined products” . shall mean, any article produced or. made in the district by the farmer. The collection ,of products of each district shall bo displayed, in a space 20ft in length. The entry fee is 10s, and the first prize is £lO and the second £5, with a special of £1 donated bj; Messrs AV. Healy and J. R. Hill for the highest number of points scored for arrangement and effect. In order to avoid any misunderstanding in connection with the competition" a scale of points has been drawn up. for the guidance of judges. This is as follows: —Arrangement and effect, 26; dairy produce, 25; roots am} fodder, 25; grain and grasses, 10; game and poultry, 10; haras and bacon, 10; jams and jellies, 10; sauce and pickles, 5; varieties of timber, 5; bread, cakes and sweets, 10; 'any novelty in new farm products, 5; fruit and vegetables, 10 ; honey, s ;,preserved fruits and wines, 10; home industries, 10; miscellaneous 10; total/ 185. The exhibits must bo arranged by farmers or farm hands.
