The domestic relations of Alfred John Blinks and his wife ware the subject of police court proceedings recently, but there was,a reconciliation yesterday. Blinks and his wife retired last night at 10.30. An argument was heard, followed later by shots, and the wife rushed out-. Her husband followed her and fired twice, shooting her fatally. He then returned to his bedroom and shot himself dead. His wife expired at the hospital. THE WRECK OF THE BILLING S. Sydney, May 15. The Billings is still on a sand-bank, broadside on to the waves. Attempts are being made to tow her off. Sydney, May 16. The Millions Club has mooted a proposal to hold an international exposition in Sydney in 1918 or 1920.
